New Polar M-61 heart rate monitors have some terrific new features.
One of the main benefits of the Polar M-61 is the new Polar WearLink
Transmitter belt. The Polar WearLink belt doesn't have the plastic
electrodes of the previous models; now the contacts are incorporated
into a soft material strap. The battery and transmitter components
are still housed in a plastic case, but now it is far more compact.
The battery is also user replaceable.

Polar S-520 Heart Rate
Monitor
Designed with cyclists in mind, the Polar S-520 represents a serious
training tool. The Polar S-520 heart rate monitor stores one exercise
file for analyzing information and five files with limited information.
Notable exercise sessions and specific lap information can also be
recorded.
In the training functions option you are guided through the interval
sections automatically resulting in ease of use and increased control
over your routine. Optional recovery rates are also a feature of this
most advanced monitor. Storage and analysis of information for future
training sessions is also possible with the Polar S-520. The Polar
S520 also utilizes performance training software to give you the most
accurate feedback and results. SonicLink, PC Coach Light training analysis
SW and an optional Cadence Sensor makes the S-520 the ideal training
tool.
